  • How long has I.E. Microblading been in business/training?

    We have been in business now 7 years and been offering a certificate program for 6 years. A+ Rating with Better Business Bureau, we are in compliance with the Bureau of Post-Secondary Education for the state of California, we are also an approved Facility with the San Bernardino County Health Department, with 5 stars on Google and 5 stars on Yelp.

  • What are the requirements to be certfied?

    You must be 18 or older and must have completed High School or a GED program. 

  • What courses do we offer?

    Microblading & Microshading, Lip Blush & Lip Neutralizing, Eyeliner 

  • How long are the courses ( Days & Hours)?

    Brows 4 Days: 20 hours, Lips 2 days: 13 hours, Eyeliner 1 day: 8 hours

  • Is there a deposit required?

    Yes,  a $500 Deposit is required when registering for courses.

  • What is included in the price of class?

    Hands on training, in the brow and Lip course you will work on a live model, a full kit ( PMU Machine, 2 bottles of ink, numbing supplies, practice materials for class and home, and enough supplies to do your first 10 clients), Digital Course Binder, Product list, Health department application information, and information to help start your own business.

  • What is required for California to be a PMU Artist?

    NO state license needed. Take a certificate program such as ours, get your blood borne pathogen Certification( 3 hours online training $25 yearly), and register with the County Health department ( $151 application yearly)

  • What is included in the price of class?

    Hands on training, in the brow and Lip course you will work on a live model, a full kit ( PMU Machine, 2 bottles of ink, numbing supplies, practice materials for class and home, and enough supplies to do your first 10 clients), Digital Course Binder, Product list, Health department application information, and information to help start your own business.

  • Will I work on a live model?

    Yes, in the Brow and lip class. In the eyeliner class you watch a live demo. 

  • Do I need to provide my own model?

    You have the option to bring you own model at no charge to your model or we can provide one for you. We recommend bringing your own model as those will be the first pictures of your work and we make sure all models turn out great so if it is a friend or relative, they will help you start your business to get the buzz going in your network.

  • Is PMU techniques hard to learn?

    It is unlike any other service in beauty, so no one starts off amazing. It takes someone committed to learning and consistently practicing to get good! You will have to work hard.

  • Is it hard to find clients?

    You will need to market yourself and your new business, we go over some marketing tips in class.

  • Do I need experience?

    No previous experience is required.

  • When is the next class and class times?

    1 class monthly ( Brows Monday – Thursday 11am -4pm or 5pm-10, Lips Friday 5pm – 10pm and Saturday 9am – 5pm, Eyeliner Saturday 9m – 5pm)

  • Are classes held in Spanish?

    Unfortunately, No.

  • How large is the class?

    No more than 15 students per class. 15 student classes have Instructor and Assistant in class to provide support for each student.

  • Is there material after the class?

    Yes. Students receive digital course manual, product list and links to purchase, Template of Client Consent form, Health department Application and information to submit, Business license information. 3 months of free chair rental in our 12-chair salon!

  • Will I be given information for the blood borne pathogen certificate?

    Yes, once you register for courses you will immediately receive the link to take the blood borne pathogen training. ($25) Through “Pro-Trainings”.

  • Will I be given information for the health department?

    Yes, we go over the application and process in detail and provide additional the application to complete in email after the course is completed.

  • Will I learn about pricing, marketing, and photo editing?

    Yes, we go over pricing guidelines,  give  start up marketing tips , andshare photo editing tips for social media posts.

  • Are there any discounts available?

    Yes, take more than one class and save. Take 2 classes save $500 take all 3 classes save $1000.  Attend an open house session and save $100 off.
